Anderson Travel, a well-established coach operator, has been acquired by FirstGroup, a leading publicly listed transportation company in the UK. The acquisition will allow FirstGroup to expand its share of the UK adjacent services market.

The acquisition encompasses Anderson Travel Ltd, Anderson Tours Ltd, and London Mini Coaches Ltd, which operates 40 coaches in and around London from a depot near Tower Bridge and a smaller depot near Heathrow Airport. Mark Anderson, the founder and majority owner of Anderson Travel, will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of the business as it integrates with First Bus.
