‘Most Loved Workplace’ honour for Setfords is fifth award this year

More recognition for the top 100 law firm’s investment in ‘happiness at work’

Setfords has been certified as a Most Loved Workplace® backed by the research and analysis of the Best Practice Institute (BPI), the top 100 law firm has announced.

The certification means that Setfords will now be considered for the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces in the UK, to be published in Newsweek magazine in October.

Co-CEO Guy Setford said: “This year is turning into a landmark year at Setfords, and the theme running through the various accolades we have collected is that our people are happy, satisfied and motivated to work with us, and we really appreciate their contribution to making us a stand-out UK law firm.”

Being recognised as a Most Loved Workplace® follows several recent honours scooped by Guildford and London-based Setfords. This year, the law firm was a winner at the UK Company Culture Awards followed by recognition as a top employer in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023.

More recently, Setfords achieved double silver Investors in People accreditations, joining an elite group of just four law firms who hold both We Invest in People and We Invest in Wellbeing industry standards.

Co-CEO Chris Setford commented: “As a leader and pioneer in the platform law firm segment of the UK legal industry, Setfords has a responsibility to maintain the highest standards and set a benchmark others aspire to.  We are particularly proud to be raising the bar in the legal industry generally when it comes to investing in our people and their wellbeing.”

Backed by BPI, Most Loved Workplace® certifies companies by measuring satisfaction and happiness at work, based on its scores on the Love of Workplace Index™.  Employees are surveyed on various elements around satisfaction and sentiment, including the level of respect, collaboration, support, and sense of belonging they feel inside the company.
