Setfords supports charity trekkers as they take on Snowdonia

Setfords Solicitors is backing a team of trekkers as they attempt to walk 100km through the Snowdonia National Park in Wales.

The group, who are made up of both ex-armed forces and civilians from Surrey and other areas will be making the walk on June 30th 2017 and are raising money for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

The charity has been providing support to armed forces personnel and their families since 1944.

The group of trekkers are attempting to cover the 100 km within three days and will make a total ascent of 5,100 metres – 300 metres more than Mont Blanc.

Setfords is contributing £250 to the group who are hoping to raise £3000.

One of the walkers, Mark, who is from Alfold in Surrey, said: “Some of the team are complete virgins to this type of event and others are old hands – so teamwork and all-for-one spirit will be aplenty. We promise we will achieve the goal and complete the challenge in support of this amazing charity.”

CEO Chris Setford said: “We are very pleased to be supporting Mark and the team as they make this epic trip for such a worthy cause.”
